Today, on St David’s Day, The Albert Hall in Llandrindod Wells proudly announces that it has secured a £60,000 grant to enhance accessibility and sustainability, thanks to the generous support of Arts Council Wales and the Welsh Government.

Mid Wales’ Oldest Theatre is celebrating after members who shop at Builth Wells’ two Co-op stores have helped raise nearly £10,000 for three local organisations. The Albert Hall was lucky enough to be selected to receive a share, of just over £2,000.

Every Tesco shopper will have noticed the blue disc container, usually placed by the door, where shoppers can select one of three local, worthy causes to win a Tesco Community Fund award by placing a disc in the slot of their choice.

Mid Wales’ Oldest Theatre, The Albert Hall, has received financial support from Round 3, of the Cultural Recovery Fund.

The oldest theatre in Mid Wales, and local charity, The Albert Hall, is today celebrating after being awarded just over £30,000 in National Lottery funding to establish a new project, ‘AH Accessible Cinema’. Read more below.
