Technical FAQs

We have a complete lighting rig, which comprises of 36 Dimmers, a Programmable Desk, and numerous fixed fixtures.

At present, we have a very basic sound system, which would not be suitable for music gigs.

We have 4 Barrel (Pipe) lines for you to hang your own curtains off.

Please note: We do not allow you to hang your own House Tabs.

Unfortunately, we do not have a rig which is suitable for flying performers, and therefore, we cannot allow aerial performances from our rig.

However, should you wish to bring your own rig, we will work with you to ensure, we can make it possible. If this is a route you'd like to take, please get in touch.
Unfortunately, due to being a Victorian theatre, we cannot currently provide an accessible backstage.

We hope in the future to be able to improve our accessibility throughout, however due to the nature of the building, it isn't going to be cheap!
Yes!
Due to the historical value of our building, we cannot allow naked flames, or Pyrotechnics on our stage.

You may use Smoke Machines!

You may use water, if it is used within your own containers, and will not touch the stage floor or curtains.
