The latest updates from The Albert Hall,
about the Coronavirus pandemic
1st February 2021
21st August 2021
The Albert Hall has REOPENED! It’s been a long 16 months, but finally the doors are open again!
The health and well-being of our patrons, volunteers, and performers is our top priority, and we will be doing our best to ensure everyone is kept safe. Therefore, there are several measures that will be in place until further notice.
Following the relaxation of Welsh Coronavirus Rules on 7th August 2021, the following measures are remaining in place:
- Hand Sanitizer points
- Track and Trace contact details taken from all attendees
- Masks to be worn by all attendees (Excluding those with an exemption), at all times unless eating, or drinking
- Increased cleaning
Find out about the exciting shows we have coming up at The Albert Hall, by checking out our ‘What’s On‘ page.
We are extremely grateful to Arts Council of Wales, for supporting us from the Cultural Recovery Fund (CRF), and from round 2 of the CRF, and also to Theatres Trust, for their support from the ‘Theatre Reopening Fund’. With this support, we have been able to obtain the necessary equipment to allow us to reopen safely.
We would like to thank you for your ongoing support, and patience throughout the Pandemic, and our thanks, also go to all Key Workers, who have worked hard on the front line, keeping us all safe.
We look forward to seeing you at The Albert Hall very soon!
